I just wanted to inform yall on how our spam filters work so yall can avoid having your emails caught in the filter and we can avoid people claiming we don't answer email  Wink

First of all, spam is not just advertising.  In fact, advertising emails alone aren't technically spam, they are junk mail, same as sales flyers in your snail mail.

Email becomes spam when the same messages are sent repeatedly in a relatively short period of time.  So an advert can become spam if sent over and over.

The same can happen to legit messages.  If you send us the same message over and over in the same day, our spam filter detects it as spam, and trashes all of them.

For instance, let's say you want to know the status of your order, and you're really anxious about it, so you send an email to angela@ultrasabers.com and you don't get a reply after an hour or so, so you re-send the same message, and then another hour goes by and you re-send, etc.  Sounds obnoxious, but it happens all the time, people will SPAM us with the same message every hour.

So the next business day Angie logs in and does a send/recieve and the spam filter deletes 500+ messages, 20 of which were from you because it recognized 20 duplicate messages as spam.  The messages don't even have to be identical, either, if there are 20 messages from the same sender, with similar subject lines or message bodies, the filter catches them, too.

Another sure fire trigger for getting getting caught in our spam filter is by emailing every address in our domain with a single message.

Other things that will trip the filter is the use of profanity in the subject line, particularly the F bomb.  Also the use of words like "viagra" "hair loss" or "prescription drugs" anywhere in the body will also trip the filter.  So try to keep your messages professional and avoid making referances to ED medication  Roll Eyes

For anyone who asks why I don't just disable the spam filter, well... Manually deleting spam and trying to find customer messages hidden within the spam wastes time, and I have to pay people by the hour.  We don't have a whole lot of time to waste during the day; we work our butts off here.  And an increase in my overhead gets passed on, and no one wants that.

Besides, if I had to waste my time wading through a cesspool of thousands of pr0n, Cialis, and 'cheap off shore prescription drug' adverts, I might not be so nice to the guy asking if I could put a sound board in an Initiate  Cheesy

Well said, Ultra. Inquiring about the status on your order every hour or even several times a day will not speed up its process. So please be patient, people...Ultrasabers has one of the best customer service relations out there and they will work with you as fast as they can (they're human too, without the advanced Galactic Technology yet for crying out loud  Grin!). You are not the only customer waiting for a saber (I have 2 that i am PATIENTLY waiting for  Grin)

One guy sent me a message on youtube, about my dominix i got from you, ultra, saying that he never got his merchandise and never get a reply and the phone number given was disconnected, what about this? I've heard about this a couple times, i really like your sabers and want to order again but I'm afraid of this happening.

How could this possibly be an issue when anyone and everyone can post on these forums and get an immediate response? If for some reason email isn't working, there's always the forums.

One guy sent me a message on youtube, about my dominix i got from you, ultra, saying that he never got his merchandise and never get a reply and the phone number given was disconnected, what about this? I've heard about this a couple times, i really like your sabers and want to order again but I'm afraid of this happening.

For the past 7 months, never once did Alex or someone from Ultra Sabers fail to return any of my e-mails. As a SW fan, I have spend close to $1K and I can also honestly say that it was worth every single penny. And I will not hesitate for a second when I am ready to make another purchase from them.

Also, unless we know for certain that the guy from youtube purchased from Ultra Sabers, for all we know, he may have been confused and purchased from another place with similar name as Ultra Sabers. I'm not saying Ultrasabers is bad or anything, i really like the sabers, but i dont normally order things online and my mom hates to do it, so im just wondering if there was anything wrong that might of happened, once i finish making my money ill be sure to order one, im thinking about getting a Anakin ROTS blazing red. Can't wait!!

OH so they've been buying from ultra force and haven't been receiving replies and blaming it on you? Sorry, just wanted to make sure because like i said before my mom doesn't really like to buy online, she doesn't think its safe and all.

Yea thanks, i want another so bad, theres a review on youtube oh the Anakin ROTS in Consular Green, but im getting it in red because my costume is a sithish costume and it would go good with it, also there would be a good story behind the anakin rots saber blazing red  Grin

Good choice Grin. I have an Anakin ROTS "Sith" or a red coming from JANGO FETT soon. I like it, Jedi sound/handle but a Sith blade, for the inner crystal is of a Sith, though it bears the trappings of a Jedi.
