I'm considering using my dremel tool's engraving attatchment on the handle of my dominix to make a unique design, but will this damage the hilt itself, or lower it's durability? Or is there any other reason that this would be a bad idea?

Be very careful where you carve and how deep. Some sections are made thinner than others!

Be seeing you.

Ok, I was going to do it on the bulky part of the emitter, since it'd be the only part that could be seen when in use. Is that thick enough?

The Bulkier Parts should be okay if you don't go too deep.  Use lower speeds on your dremel.  You don't want to heat the PVC too much because it can warp, smoke, and get extremely hot. Not to mention the dust and fumes are toxic and known to be carcinogenic if exposed over long periods.

Ok, so bulky parts only, go slow, don't go deep, and wear goggles with a respirator?

Eye protection is Paramount.  A respirator may be advisable, but if you are not directly huffing the fumes or snorting the dust, you should be fine if you have adequate ventilation.  However, I would recommend it.

I want a FX Ultra Saber but I'd like the construction kit as well, are there any deals or specials? Can I just order it all at once? Or do I have to order the Ultra saber and then send it back in?

Hi there. This topic is not quite where you'd want this. It shoudl have been in the Ultrasabers General questions.

There are no specials right now, and the Ultra Fxs are already converted. You just buy the whole saber and ti comes ot you with a lux III or a P4 LED and a removable blade.

Welcome ot the forums, and do some searching on that construction kit. I've heard they are pretty flimsy period.

The answer to my question must be here somewhere already, but I just can't seem to find it!  So, here goes, and sorry if this is a repeat.

On the Ultrasound 2.5 boards, which slots are + and which are - for the accent leds?

I have read and reread the US 2.5 "manual" several times, but can't seem to find the answer.  And I see no hints on my boards themselves.

If you are holding the Board with accent Leds on the bottom side I believe from left to right they are - + - +

I don't have one hooked up in front of me but i seem to remember that's how they were because I assumed they were the other way and had black + wires for Led 1 and 2 Smiley

They will only light one way so you can always check them first once you have the rest of the board wired.

Locking this topic as DARTH TYRANUS has been inactive on the boards for quite some time now,  and is no longer affiliated with Ultrasabers.
