I have been thinking of selling one of my sabers - and donating the money to help those who are suffering in the world. So I've decided to sell this one...


It's got a 3w Red Lux and hasbro sound. It has a 4 AA battery pack fitted to hold 3 AA's. It is big enough inside to hold a CF too. Comes without a blade.

I've been inspired by Judge Sabersmith who also sold a saber for charity...

I've decided to keep accepting TICKETS until Monday April 14th at midnight Moutain standard time.

The Arabic word for charity is sadaqah, from the root word sidq  which means truth.
So the connotation is that charity is an expression of one's truthfulness when one gives from the best of his possessions.

Excellent idea Madcow.  For those of you that don't know World Vision is a great organization that meets the needs of the poor of the world.  I partner with another group a sister group almost of World Vision and it is called VisionTrust International.

I have been supporting a little girl for almost 10 years now.  My money buys her food, school clothes, medicine and doctors checkups along with the ability to get an education.

 

When I met her she was shy and didn't speak a word.  She lives in a cinderblock house with no windows, door water or plumbing.  They work to survive.  She is now a vibrant young lady with an awesome smile that loves spending time with us when we are able to visit.  We actally have been down and helped to construct her school on 3 separate occasions.  My point here is that we saw where the money goes.  It all goes to meet the needs of the children.  None of it goes to support the organization and its leaders.

This is def a worthy cause.  Way to go Madcow.

Thats Awesome what you are doing, the more time i spend here the more i like the people. Within 1 day of being on these boards i Hired the skillz of Do-Clo for my custom, and have seen several others so intricately skilled in this rare craft, that it makes me as an artist want to begin the craft.

Beyond the shiny metal, the brilliant blades, and the ambience of the saber; I find the people here, equally brilliant, and generous. it is refreshing to see what kindness lies in peoples hearts. I hope your kindess spreads to others here and throughout the world in general. Consider my bid made!

Here's my little guy: Sekaja Asuman, Kireka Providence, Kampala, Uganda. He's 12, almost 13, whip smart, loves English and Science class, soccor, lives with his aunt in a thatched mud hut, wants to be a doctor. Been doing it for about 3 years now, along with an ongoing mail correspondence, the absolute best, best 24 bucks a month money can buy. Infinity more fulfilling than cable, world of warcraft, light sabers or any other frivolity I piss money away on each month. I HIGHLY recommend it.
