Uncle George has finally found a home for the clone wars animated series.
but its NOT on prime time, on any of the three big networks, like he had hoped.

http://starwars.com/theclonewars/news/announcement.html

there will be a star wars theatrical release august 15 , then original "first airings" on cartoon network, followed by 'rebroadcast' (reruns) on TNT
(at least it has a home ;) now bring on the Clone Wars!)

p.s does anyone else think MR is missing out, by "passing" on the license?

a new theatrical release would have been a good excuse for new props ;) hehe

Has anyone heard about the movie?  I saw on a site, I'll try to find it, that there's a special new character in this Clone Wars version.  I never saw the 2 volume series, guess I should go and by them, but I'm not to keen on Anakin having this padawan.  Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Found the site, just don't click if you don't want to know.

Did any of you notice that this movie is going to be distributed by Warner Brothers rather than 20th Century Fox? I found that interesting.

Needless to say, I am highly anticipating this Clone Wars thing now. 2008 is definitely going to be a strong year for Star Wars with TFU coming out soon. ;)

Excuse my ignorance, please.  But what is TFU?

Thanks, just couldn't figure what the letters TFU had to do with Clone Wars.  Yeah, I can't wait for that game, looks outrageous!!
