Hi Martin B.!

A very warm Welcome to you!
So you made it to this forum, finally... ...about time!
When I saw the youtube video of this saber some time ago, I was totally dumbfounded and blown away... ...this piece of craftsmanship is absolutely breathtaking! I'm a huge fan of nifty mechanisms and gadgets - and this saber has quite a few of those...
That belongs definitely among the best I have ever seen... (and since I'm German, I don't use superlatives lightly )

It sure is a beautiful Graflex. But the way lightsabers auctions are going on eBay... I'll have to keep admiring just videos and pictures

Ahh, must not have watched till the end. Very very nice!  The fact that the chassis has a disconnect is amazing!

How does one get the parts to build a graflex like this?? I'm a noob to this hobby but to build a lightsaber has been a dream of mine.

you have to design and build the parts by yourself ;)

A friend randomly sent me the YouTube video of this yesterday. I kept having to pick up my jaw throughout the video. Just unbelievably cool work!

the next one is finished

I modified the chassis. And I changed the design a bit. I tried the new gills on the crystal chamber. I like them a lot.
Some disks are now from steel for better performance and stability. But most of them are still aluminum.
The bubble eye will light up too. I drilled a hole into the screw.
I added two different end-cap-disks. One TFA style and one with soundholes. Of course the sound is better with this one ^^
Also I added a brass guide-pin for the locking mechanism. That makes it much more easyer to plug the electronic module to the hilt.
The cells got an extra "positioner" for perfect and stable placement. It was good before...but now it´s perfect ;)
Most of the design was optimised!

This saber got a CF 8.0, 2x 14650 cells, triple cree, 2W bass speaker, vintage hilt (which is near perfect condition)
