X-Wing and Tie Fighter.

If anyone is interested it appears that the site gog.com has released X-Wing and Tie Fighter classic games. I don't have all the details, but will update this post when I do.

Yeah the good ol days of installing original X-Wing from a whole bunch of floppy disks [!] and launching from DOS command line on a 'state of the art' [LOL] 32 bit 16 Mhz i386 with a whopping 4MB RAM [wow], 16 bit colour VGA graphics and SoundBlaster oooh LOLOL...

...but hey it was STAR WARS and we were flying an XWING!!! *nerdgasm* what could possibly be better? Well except for the nerf poodo escort missions...I hate escort missions..argh...

Soooooooooo much FUN those games were and so cool that now a whole new generation of gamers will get the chance to discover how brilliant they were.

I hope they'll get X-Wing versus TIE Fighter too eventually...that game was also epic.

I do miss the old days of DOS. Also the the Tie Defender is broken and amazing. I do hope that they can get X-Wing VS Tie Fighter.
