Is there any word on when the PM system will be repaired? It is frustrating to receive email notifications a week or two after the fact and in a huge onslaught of them at once. The forum host seems to really have issues with PMs

at this time, the notification system is lowest on my priority list for "fixes". Once the system is fully optimized and stable at the new level, I will take a look at what is causing the backlog in the mail queues....

Althoughm that does raise the question:
I know that PM notifications are seriously backlogged...
Does anyone have notifications turned on for specific threads?  If so, are those notifications also delayed?

for me the topic notifications are faster by a lot, not ever taking longer than the rest of the day and they are usually immediate (at least recently).

I only have the one set-up for Erv's announcements and that is generally on time though the May 4th one came through twice (once on time and again late on Sunday)

I am been having terrible difficulties with the website lately. Either it does not load, sits loading or just times out. This occurs on my Note 3, mac, and desktop so I know its not one device. Even sending PM's or checking posts takes forever and sometimes just does not happen.
Best,
Terry

Hi folks.   Sorry, I seem to have missed a few comments.

the slow site was probably related to network stuff...   it appears to be working correctly now..

Xene...   I am not sure what's going on for you...
That link does not generate an error for me... and others seem to have been able to start threads since the 12th.   Do you still have an issue?

Hey there, maybe I'm being stupid. In the past whenever I have returned to the site, I have remained logged in.  Now whenever I come back to the site, I must log in again.  Every time I select, "forever"  to just keep me logged in, but it just doesn't seem to stick any more.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Suggestions?

check your browser settings for cookies...  if you clear or do not allow cookies, then the site can not save your login...

Additionally, if you log out on ANY browser or machine, you will be logged out of ALL instances on ALL machines.

I can't recreate -- I just tried from three different devices and it maintained my login across all of them

Super weird... doesn't seem to be the browser... cookies are enabled and it doesn't clear the cookies automatically.... I'm on other forums that maintain sessions using cookies and they're working fine... so strange... worked fine until the last couple of weeks.  I assume it's me somehow as I'm the only variable here.  I'm just not sure why it's happening.
