Adding another - http://www.etsy.com/shop/219eileen?ref=usr_faveitems&atr_uid=20420205

Shop owner is Eileen.  I have 2 outfits and a robe from her.  Great experience each time.  Clothing is well made, fits very nicely and I think very reasonably priced.

These are all great.  I am going to sticky this topic for a while.  Anyone else have a vendor/source for costuming?

While I do not have the pleasure of owning any of his pieces, I have seen a lot of his stuff in person and several of my customers are customers of his as well.  He does great stuff!

Plus you may want to consider looking into a more prop type website like RPF... I know at some point someone did very professional cast & vaccu formed and entire set up

I think they did a run (or runs).

I also know there are guys (right at this moment) who are (I guess like) halfway through doing the entire run of the Sith Acolyte suits(from the swtor "decieved" trailer)... hey are fiberglass pulls

NO Im not part of the runs (and never certain of posting links) BUT if thats what your after your just going to really need to look.... Deeper (google fu)

BTW as far as I know the reason for the run is 501st approval? (its top quality and Im sure price) so maybe ask those guys too

Updated.  Removed dead links from the first post,  and added some new ones at the bottom of the list.

We do have another "stickied" topic that was started a few years ago that has recently been updated.  It is located here:

I found this website online and have never purchased from them. It is more medieval, but some of the boots would definitely work with a jedi/sith costume. The leather armor would look pretty awesome too!

Museum Replicas Limited no longer holds the license to Star Wars costumes and subsequently no longer carries the boots.  My personal experience with their Star Wars line?  Even if they were still available, you're better off getting your boots elsewhere.  The quality was inconsistent, and they were highly over priced.  What they asked for could get you a pair of custom made boots that were made specifically for your measurements.

There are other alternatives out there, it just depends on your budget and deadline.

Weird .....They have the boots, under another name and not a licensed product ( which doesn't matter to me^^)
price is $75, full leather and durable sole.

I have the rider boots for 3 years, great quality for the price I have paid ( $75)
I am riding very often with them and using them as costume piece for choregraphed fights and such, maybe i was lucky but they are still in great shape, nothing loose or torn appart yet^^

Buit I agree with you some of the props are to be avoided...like the swords( wall hangers) and some metal armor (18 to 16 Gauge temper max) they are too soft for full speed sparring and you will cave in your expensive piece of armor at the first hit....Always try to get 14 Gauge minimum for something else than cosplay/reenactment.

I just looked those up on their site.  Those are pleather boots that you can get on ebay or the like for about $40.00 typically.  It's good to know that they're pretty durable and worth the money as they can be a great alternative for those on a budget.

I ordered the officially licensed Obi-Wan Ep.  III boots from MRL a few months ago to see what they were like.  They got returned almost immediately for a refund.

For Star Wars boots, my personal recommendation is to go with JDOS Productions.  He can make any design boot you want to your measurements.  While they are more expensive, they are worth every penny because of the quality and fit of his work.  Considering that these are custom made pieces, his prices are really really reasonable.  The only downside is that you might have to wait a while.  But quality takes time.

I also own a pair of Han Solo boots from Todd's Costumes. These will work well for many different SW costumes.  Luke ANH Ceremony, Luke ROTJ Jedi, X-Wing pilots, Rebel Troopers, etc.  Great boots!  Great quality, affordable, and durable.

Lots of cool and useful things on this site.
