Hi saberland!
So, I have been working on this for a while now so I thought it was time to introduce it.
Essentially, ever since I started to like Star Wars, OWK was a stand out character for me. He was everything I liked in a jedi - cool, calm and collective!
Ever since I saw the Master Replicas LE of his saber, I dreamed of owning one but at the time (I was only 11 in 2005) I had no where near enough money to afford one. Since I have been building sabers for a while now, and learning a lot about it, I decided to put some of those skills into creating a 'electronics ready' OWK hilt from EPIII (my favourite kind)
So, I went to my 3D designer and discussed what I wanted, what it had to have and I sent the finished drawings to the CNC company and had the first prototype made. It came out amazing and I love it so much! I even made a separate 12 groove grenade for those who like the option of being able to duel with it.
It needs to be powder coated of course and a few bits and bobs here and there, but nothing major. I need to source the clamp greeblies, drill and tap a blade retention screw, and some other light work. I even had the accurate clamp cards made already!
This will be my build log for this saber so keep an eye here. All I am waiting on is the sound boards (CF7.5) to come in stock and I will start this saber!
Below is the end result and I hope you guys like it!

UPDATE 12/10/2014
So sorry for the lack of updates people. I have been working on getting some of the parts powder coated and plated etc.
So everything has been done really except for the brass neck part. I have had the neck real copper plated as well as the stud on the clamp. Also I started polishing the aluminium to give it the shiny look that the obi wan has.
Next stage really is to have the brass neck plated or powder coated, and then we are good to go for the install. This thing looks amazing in person and just blings! It also feels so great in the hand. Really a thing of beauty, I am so proud of it!
