Interested.

A lightsaber would be the IDEAL weapon for killing them since it CAUTERIZES wounds instantly - no acid blood dripping eh?

To DREAM the IMPOSSIBLE DREAM. To FIGHT the unbeatable foe. To BEAR with unbearable sorrow. To RUN where the brave dare not go. To RIGHT the unrightable wrong. To LOVE, PURE AND CHASTE, FROM AFAR [-sigh-]. To TRY, when your arms are too weary; to REACH the unreachable Star!... This is my Quest; To follow that Star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far...

interested in full saber or kit depending on price  :)

Haha... Well, it's a fool's errand, boy. The Emperor's army is infinite. You'll eventually be killed... or worse... and nothing will have changed.

does anyone know if this is moving forward or are calculations still being made to hammer-down a price range?

We have had to leave this project for a week or so as Jet3D has been out of the UK.
I am expecting to meet with him later this week the finalise the 3d printed prototype parts.
Will post as soon as we have progress.

Up-date;
Had a meeting with Jet3D this week, great guy, full of enthusiasm and keen to use his skills to bring this project together.
We have established the basics for the hilt and are now working on producing a prototype, when we have this we can explore the options on manufacture.
Jet3D has explained the available processes and will be using his contacts to find the best way forwards.
There are some exciting techniques that we can use that may not be as expensive as first thought :))

More soon...
