a crystal reveal saber by JQ Sabers
This is a very awesome lightsaber by jq sabers daren has taken a bog standard master replicas fx yoda and turned it into this masterpeice, the crystal chamber is a glorious sight to behold never have i seen a yoda hilt with such a huge crystal display, the chrome plated fin styled chamber looks very impressive with the radiator style brass bars running through them and the crystal center also has blade matching white foc which is a cool addition, i also love the grips on the rear of the saber they are custom made from brass i beleive and add LOTS of weight to the saber it actually feels like you are holding a solid MR LE hilt it has great heft for such a small hilt, it feels like a real lightsaber
i have got to mention the weathering to the saber i really like the subtle approach, its hard to see at 1st glance but look closely and its nicely weatherd, a great touch
Then thers the cool stand which i have to admit i have never seen anything like it, the saber hangs from its blade plug via a very strong magnet and wire and it looks like its floating from a distance, it can be displayed like this as normal or in reveal mode which really looks cool especially as the stand is lighted so it makes for a very nice corner peice/lamp and lights a room up lovely
the saber is powerd by the awesome crystal shard sound board, (located next to the crystals) which is a great little sound board and man does it kick out volume i was especially supprised by the volume of the saber considering the mini speaker and 3.2v battery set up but it sure is a loud un, it has great resonance
an accurate yoda was always on my list of sabers and i knew as soon as i saw this that i needed it in my collection, imo its one of the best yoda sabers out there but thats just me... :P well its one of 2 as sushitronic owns the other one :))
