non-display display

My lightsaber project is morphing into a "decorate the tv room" project.
I'm thinking of putting things in the TV room that is recognizable as movie props, but not in a way that makes it obvious that they are "on display". For instance, I plan to buy a "grays sports almanac" and put it on the coffee table. I will have a hat rack which will have Indys hat & whip, next to Dr. Who's scarf. (And perhaps a red crowbar...)

There will also be some things that are more obviously on display, such as light sabers, movie posters and stuff.

I'm curious if people have other ideas for non-display display items, or if perhaps other people have already done it?

     When you first come into our home you will notice a curio with some star wars stuff ;but, when you walk into our bedroom you may think you've walked into a Star wars museum .

-Ruby Slippers from the Wizard of Oz
-One Ring from the Lord of the Rings
-Blue and Red Pills from the Matrix
-Drinking Bird from Alien
-Can of Barbasol from Jurassic Park
-"Save the Clock Tower" Flyer from BTTF
Those are some of my favorites. 
If you wanted to go all out, you could hang up "Rosebud" from Citizen Kane.

Who can identify the most props in this picture?

The Fedora and scarf are from Doctor Who, I didn't see the bullwip at first, but yeah, they both (Who and Indy) wore fedora.
And that speak and spell could be from E.T.
